Position Overview

An outstanding opportunity has emerged for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to become part of a prominent Facilities Management organization. The successful candidate will possess a robust electrical expertise and hold relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, along with the 18th Edition certification as a minimum requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist fellow technicians with both significant and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Execute all necessary Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance schedules within designated timelines, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Prioritize and finalize minor maintenance and repair tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are consistently available and in good working condition.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM tasks, there may be occasions when the Technician is required to attend other locations within the cluster to perform work.
  • Collaborate with company and client colleagues to uphold established quality standards at all times.
  • Represent the organization in a professional manner consistently and foster positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Complete all tasks in alignment with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system, ensuring real-time job updates from yourself and your team at all times.


Required Qualifications:
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / maintenance
Or recognized apprenticeship equivalent
