Job Summary:

Xpertise Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Operations professional to lead our IT Operations team. As the Head of IT Operations, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, optimising operations, service quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT Operations team: Ensure SLA's are met and service is of the highest quality.
  • Implement a vision and strategy: Work with the IT Leadership Team to develop a comprehensive strategy for the team.
  • Manage the team's budget: Recognise opportunities to reduce capex and opex spend.
  • Oversee indirect reports: Work with business stakeholders to understand and meet business objectives.
  • Act as an escalation point: Resolve issues that cannot be resolved by the team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent relationships builder: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills: Communicate effectively with stakeholders of varying technical capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver: Develop and implement solutions to complex problems.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001: Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • ITIL or Project Management Certified: Demonstrate expertise in IT service management.

Desired experience:

  • Azure: Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Active Directory: Knowledge of directory services.
  • IT Operations Leadership: Proven experience in leading IT operations teams.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and reducing costs.
  • Supplier Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Computer Systems, Software, Hardware and Networks: Experience with IT infrastructure and systems.
