Job Summary:

Stericycle is seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement and transportation of clinical and industrial waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the safe and efficient transportation of waste, adhering to all relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with the Transportation team to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements related to road traffic, driver's hours, and digital tachograph records.
  • Complete specific documentation required by legislation and corporate procedures.
  • Act as a customer contact at delivery points, maintaining a polite and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as needed, displaying flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Previous driving experience, preferably with an LGV Class 2 license.
  • Full Driver CPC Card.
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, such as ADR training.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
