We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support a young disabled man residing at Edinburgh University.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to enable our client to live independently and participate in community activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with food preparation, including batch cooking and meal planning
- Perform household chores, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany our client on outings and activities, such as walks and shopping
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our client
We are looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate and understanding
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and weekends, with opportunities for extra hours available.
Pay and Benefits:The hourly rate is £12.00, with opportunities for additional pay for extra hours worked.
