Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a long-term contract basis at a prestigious military base. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Aircraft Mechanical or Avionic Maintenance supporting Front Line and Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance on Merlin Mk4/4a aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provision of Aircraft Mechanical/Avionic Maintenance: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance support to Front Line and Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance on Merlin Mk4/4a aircraft.
  2. CHF Squadron Engineering Responsibilities: The candidate will carry out engineering responsibilities equivalent to an Avionic/Mechanical Supervisor POAET.
  3. Supervision and Removal of Aircraft Systems: The successful candidate will supervise and/or carry out the removal, dismantling, re-assembly and refitting of role equipment, aircraft subassemblies and systems within own trade.
  4. Independent Inspections: The candidate will carry out independent inspections within own trade.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all tasks in accordance with military regulations, Air Publications, Aircraft Document Set (i.e MOD Form 700C series), other instructions, local orders and health and safety regulations. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out robust Corrosion Prevention in accordance with policy and guidance to maintain a high material state of the Merlin Mk4/4A.
