Job Summary:
Arc Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance team with various financial tasks, including cash management, payment processing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Assist in the posting of receipts and payments into our accounting system, as well as maintaining daily and weekly bank reconciliations.
- Payment Processing: Create e-banking files to facilitate the processing of weekly payment runs.
- Credit Card Management: Process and reconcile credit card transactions and receipts.
- Subcontractor Invoicing: Process weekly subcontractor invoices, including exposure to the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
- Sales Ledger Management: Process sales invoices from client valuations and retentions, as well as through our sales order processing functionality.
- Intercompany Transactions: Maintain intercompany balances across our group structure, including processing transactions, performing monthly account balance reconciliations, and processing payments to clear balances.
- Group Management Charges: Calculate and process journals for group management charges.
- Job Costing: Produce job margin and cost reports for operations teams and support in the analysis of this information.
- ESG Support: Assist in supporting the group's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy through data collection and collaboration with other finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Shared Ledger Management: Manage shared ledger email inboxes on a daily basis.
- Team Support: Assist other members of the finance team with day-to-day duties and key projects as required.
