Job Title: Information Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team at Bench Direct. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day information security at our firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day information security at the firm, working closely with third-party providers to ensure IT security suppliers perform to expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing and upcoming improvement projects, analyzing the implications of hardware and software changes and upgrades on cyber security risk and information security policies.
  • Lead incident response to any information security breach, working closely with the IT Team and risk and compliance functions.
  • Manage the Information Security Analyst team and provide authoritative advice and guidance on security controls in collaboration with experts in other functions.
  • Oversee information security initiatives, including audit action points, and assess risks to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the firm's systems.
  • Work with external security providers to maintain a secure environment and deliver projects to improve the security posture of the firm.
  • Proven track record of delivering security improvements to time, cost, and quality controls.
Requirements:
  • CISSP or CISSM certification is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of GDPR is essential, with related qualifications desirable.
  • ISO 27001 accreditation and experience of implementing such is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, and Windows 10 Security, as well as DMARC implementation, is advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of program/project management software.
  • Normal office hours are 9.30 am until 5.30 pm, with flexibility required.
  • This is an initial 3-month FTC, with a salary of circa £65k (pro rata).
  • Must be UK-based.
