We are seeking an experienced Android SDET to join our team at Deerfoot I.T. Resources Ltd.

About the Role:

As an Android SDET, you will be responsible for building and maintaining comprehensive automated tests for our native Android mobile applications. Your primary responsibilities will include writing detailed test cases and plans, managing test devices and data, and contributing to the automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate test cases to validate product requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers on contract tests and perform manual testing when required.
  • Participate in test execution, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Maintain test infrastructure and tools.
  • Conduct code and test reviews, continuously improving quality.
  • Document test frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in test development.
  • Proficient in Kotlin and testing practices in an agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Android ecosystem and experience with JUnit.
  • Familiarity with Appium, HTTP protocols, and continuous integration systems like Jenkins is an asset.
