Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit and oversee a team of Community Managers and Moderators, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and guidance to excel.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive playbooks and resource documents for onboarding and managing workflows aligned with client goals.
  • Conduct regular team check-ins to address inquiries and gather feedback.
  • Facilitate appropriate training and skill enhancement for community managers and moderators as required.

Data Reporting and Analysis:

  • Extract data from community platforms and compile reports for stakeholders.
  • Evaluate community sentiment and feedback, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Establish and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for community activities and campaigns.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, including data analysis and community sentiment evaluations.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Formulate and execute community strategies that enhance engagement and growth.
  • Coordinate community events, overseeing their organization and execution.
  • Provide strategic guidance for community launches and activations, including roles, channels, and onboarding processes.
  • Design and manage workflows for community implementation and activations.

Content Strategy and Development:

  • Conceptualize, create, and manage content that resonates with the community and aligns with brand strategies.
  • Oversee the copywriting process and approval workflows for community-related content.
  • Schedule and publish content according to a content calendar and in response to trending topics.
  • Draft and review posts for various platforms, ensuring consistency and quality.

Community Management and Engagement:

  • Supervise and manage Community Managers responsible for online communities across diverse platforms (Discord, Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
  • Foster community growth and engagement through interactive content, live events, and consistent communication.
  • Address community inquiries, ensuring high levels of community satisfaction while managing a team of moderators and community managers.
  • Implement and oversee community suggestions and feedback, ensuring a responsive and engaged community atmosphere.
  • Manage announcements and community sentiment reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Must be eager to learn, grow, and succeed.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data and provide insights.
  • Proficiency in generating analytical reports using tools such as Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Looker) or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in managing Discord communities and technical proficiency with Discord's infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with online forum moderation and management of moderation teams.
  • In-depth understanding of social media best practices, particularly for platforms like Discord, Telegram, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative flair for content ideation and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree or qualification in marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, psychology, journalism, media studies, or a related field (not a strict requirement).
  • Previous experience managing social channels for web3 brands or NFT projects, particularly on Discord.
