Assistant Manager of Radiology Services | Imaging | Full Time | Permanent
Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced senior radiographer to step into the role of Assistant Manager within our Imaging Department. This position presents a remarkable opportunity for an individual with prior leadership or supervisory experience, along with a solid foundation in radiology, to advance their career.
The role will encompass diagnostic clinical responsibilities, and participation in the on-call schedule will be necessary.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Head of Department and follow directives from the Director of Clinical Services Inspire and lead the radiology team towards excellence Assist in planning, allocating, assessing, and providing constructive feedback to team members Support the effective management of physical and financial resources Implement and oversee operational processes and policies Manage staffing levels in the radiology team to meet patient needs Foster a work environment that prioritizes health, safety, and security Ensure compliance with IRR and IRMER regulations within the department Advocate for patient rights and promote equality and diversity Build and maintain strong relationships with Consultant Radiologists Oversee clinical governance and audit processes in the department Undertake clinical duties as required and participate in the departmental on-call scheduleIdeal Candidate Profile
BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification Extensive post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer or Team Leader Proven experience in team leadership, supervision, and mentoring Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with RIS/PACS and IEP system management Commitment to ongoing professional development In-depth knowledge of IRR and IRMER legislation Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging servicesEmployee Benefits
