About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at New York Health. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule office and/or hospital procedures per physician recommendation.
  • Work with electronic medical records to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Help patients navigate through appointments to ensure all proper clearances have been obtained.
  • Maintain relationships with various surgical facilities to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Collect and manage CPT and ICD Coding for accurate billing and reimbursement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare scheduling or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Medical Assistant certification a plus.
