Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our commercial property department, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of commercial property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, including negotiating and drafting contracts.
  • Assist clients with commercial leases, occupiers, and other related matters, including grants, surrenders, assignments, and LTA 54 renewals.
  • Provide guidance on grant of easements, options, and overage agreements.
  • Work with clients on property finance matters, including debentures and charges.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with commercial and residential development sites, including conditional sale agreements, site assembly, ransom strips, options, sub-station leases, collaboration/JV agreements, and promotion agreements.
  • Act for landowners in respect of sales to developers, including experience of developers' requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property matters, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, and property finance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
