Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced History teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a History teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the national curriculum and policies.
• Assess and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies, resources, and assessments to ensure student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the wider school community.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher Status (NQT).
• Degree in History.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Two recent references from the last 24 months.
