Key Responsibilities

As a Manual Machinist, your duties will include:

  • Performing manual machining (including centre lathe turning and screw cutting)
  • Utilizing hand tools for measuring, marking, and cutting materials
  • Monitoring the performance of machines and making necessary adjustments
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a tidy work environment

Candidate Profile

  • Expertise in tooling for traditional lathe operations
  • Prior experience with measurements and calculations
  • Strong mechanical understanding of lathe functions
  • Familiarity with hand tools used in lathe operations
  • Capability to fabricate and shape materials according to specifications
  • Experience in handling materials and implementing proper storage methods
