Role Overview

As an Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of cybersecurity processes and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Leading the organization’s efforts towards achieving ISO 27001 compliance.
  • Taking charge of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), which encompasses the framework of policies and procedures for effective information management.
  • Developing, drafting, and managing ISO-compliant policies tailored to the organization’s needs, rather than relying on pre-existing templates.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and strategizing around information security risks to enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Collaborating on the documentation of the organization’s approach to information security, utilizing resources such as SharePoint.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for standards-related inquiries and supporting various related projects.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in developing ISO-compliant policies and procedures independently.
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive risk assessments, including scoping, applicability, asset registration, and business impact analysis.
  • The ability to interpret and present analytical results effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with technical staff, including software engineers.
