We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Aquatic Molecular Ecology to join our team at the University of Exeter. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting learning in the areas of aquatic biology, genetics, molecular evolution, and ecology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver teaching programs in aquatic molecular ecology, including laboratory-based and field-based practical classes.
  • Supervise and assess undergraduate students in relevant academic areas.
  • Contribute to the development of student-focused initiatives to support student experience and success.
  • Participate in external networks to contribute to student recruitment, student placements, and outreach work.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Excellent teaching and experience of a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and produce teaching and learning material within the subject area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
