This role presents a unique opportunity to become part of a vibrant online hospitality organization with ambitious growth objectives. The Digital Experience Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping the online user experience provided to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. We seek a specialist in digital B2C experience design to enhance the company's online service offerings as it adapts and broadens its product range in response to evolving customer expectations and market dynamics.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary website Product team, which includes a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, and Web Developers. You will contribute to the advancement and refinement of the user experience across responsive websites as the organization aims to scale its operations. All website development and maintenance are handled by internal teams.

We are looking for an outstanding communicator with exceptional design capabilities, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to go above and beyond to meet business goals. The Digital Experience Designer will engage with internal stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and brand-consistent website design and user experience.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2C digital design for a large organization focused on delivering experiences.
  • Proficiency in crafting customer journeys and enhancing usability.
  • Designing responsive user experiences for eCommerce functionalities such as product search, product information display, online payment processes, user accounts, and post-purchase interactions.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional user experiences, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.
  • Experience working within agile methodologies.
  • Facilitating design workshops, retrospectives, and adopting a fail-fast, iterative approach to change.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Utilizing data from multivariate testing.
  • Accessing and interpreting analytics data.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Robust technical design knowledge and skills.
  • Familiarity with responsive web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, mock-up and wireframe tools, user journey modeling tools, and design software.
  • Honors degree in Design or a related field.
