MRO Project Manager Job Description

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced MRO Project Manager to join our team in the Product Line department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing landing gear overhaul events, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage landing gear overhaul events from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Product Line team, Operations, Planning, Billing, and Engineering to ensure seamless contract fulfillment.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Track and report event costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing countermeasures as needed.
  • Participate in event status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze financial data to optimize profitability and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the Aerospace industry, preferably in MRO or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as engineering or a related field.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft packages and experience with MRP/ERP data systems (SAP/AMOS, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and present findings effectively.
  • Ability to read and understand customer contracts and specifications, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Working Hours: 38 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime and claim it back in time off.

Salary: From £37,000 per annum.
