Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer - Aerospace and Defence

In this role, you will engage in a variety of projects that involve the repair and refurbishment of plant and equipment, selection of components, process enhancement, and the integration of new systems, including Instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal processing.

As you begin your journey in this Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer position, you can anticipate:

  • Gaining insights into the design purpose of current machinery and equipment, along with their operational conditions and maintenance needs.
  • Designing and executing new E,C&I engineering components for plant, machinery, and aerospace testing apparatus, ensuring compliance with company documentation and engineering justifications.
  • Assessing and characterizing existing machinery and testing equipment to guarantee seamless integration with new systems.
  • Analyzing telemetry and data collected from operational equipment to evaluate performance metrics.

To qualify for this Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E,C&I) Engineer position, you should possess a degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.

  • Industrial experience in a similar capacity post-degree is essential. You should also demonstrate strong numerical skills, confidence in analytical techniques, and a solid understanding of industrial machinery along with formal design control and change management procedures.

Additionally, you must meet UK Security Clearance requirements, which include a minimum of 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
