About the Role
The National Physical Laboratory is seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team. As a key player in our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our department. Your primary focus will be on administrative tasks, including setting up new suppliers, managing supplier order acknowledgements, and checking supplier accreditations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient procurement processes
- Manage and process procurement documents, including purchase orders and invoices
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and report on procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong administrative skills, knowledge of procurement methods and technologies, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and have strong problem-solving skills.
