Our Corporate Finance teams are structured to deliver specialized expertise in either product, sector, or geographical focus. These teams work collaboratively to offer a range of services tailored to clients in each industry. Team members develop deep knowledge in their specific product, sector, or region.

As a member of one of our local office teams, your focus will be on the acquisition, divestiture, and consolidation of both public and private entities. You may also engage in various other transaction types, including de-mergers, joint ventures, and strategic assessments. Our teams are located in various regions, including:

As an Analyst within the Corporate Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in our strategic initiatives and execution. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire spectrum of transaction execution, including the preparation of marketing materials, financial modeling and analysis, and the development of internal committee memoranda and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate projects, including client communications and collaboration with advisory teams both externally and internally
  • Create content for strategic discussions with clients
  • Perform in-depth valuation and financial analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO analysis, and transaction structuring
  • Prepare presentation materials, management presentations, board documents, memoranda, and other materials for corporate finance transactions or strategic client discussions
  • Manage daily deal execution and project oversight, taking the lead in supporting client engagement through regular communication with clients and prospects
  • Engage with senior team members and client management teams daily to execute transactions and explore strategic options
  • Collaborate with J.P. Morgan product teams and global sector teams, along with equities and research departments
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
  • Previous experience in investment banking (internship or 1-3 years of relevant experience)
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and numerical skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while managing multiple projects
  • Professional and mature interaction with clients
  • High attention to detail, proactive approach, and effective time management
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive team environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and defend their validity
