Job Title:

Software Developer - Capital Markets

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in the City of London. We are working with a leading Global Financial Services organisation to source a talented individual with experience in Capital Markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop software solutions in Java for real-time market data systems in various financial marketplaces.
  2. Implement web and server-side Java programming using best practices.
  3. Interact with SQL database systems and ensure data integrity.
  4. Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Required Skills:
  1. Familiarity with financial trading environments and bus architectures.
  2. Experience with Java, C++, or C# programming languages.
  3. Familiarity with major Financial Market Information Vendors.
  4. Good understanding of RDBMS technology and SQL usage.
  5. Basic knowledge of LINUX or Windows operating systems.
  6. Experience with Agile development methods.
