Position: Educational Support Assistant

We are seeking dedicated individuals to take on the role of Educational Support Assistants. This position involves working closely with students who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those on the Autism spectrum. The role is flexible, with opportunities to work between 2 to 5 days a week, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. No prior training is necessary, as you will receive on-the-job training to help you succeed in this rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons.
  • Assist students in accessing the curriculum and adapting lesson activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with both students and teaching staff to help pupils reach their full potential.
  • Support students in managing their emotions and maintaining focus during class.

Compensation:
The hourly pay rate is £12.81, with a total daily earning potential of £83.29, inclusive of holiday pay. The workday consists of 7 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals with SEND, Autism, or Complex Needs is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (valid visa required).
  • At least one recent reference related to child care and a valid DBS check.
