About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments to develop effective management plans for patients.
  • Ensure the safe prescription of psychotropic medications and demonstrate a solid understanding of managing patients detained under the Mental Health Act.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of patients in PICU.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experience working in a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or similar setting.
