Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Selby to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer.

Salary: £50,000

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with on-call duties

The successful candidate will work closely with the Automation and Controls Manager to deliver electrical projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

Project Management
  • Manage electrical modifications and projects
  • Read and interpret P&IDs for new plant and modifications
  • Design and modify electrical schematics according to P&IDs
  • Generate bills of material and technical specifications for procurement
  • Specify project scope to contractors for installation and modification
Electrical Design and Installation
  • Update electrical drawings to 'As Installed' standard
  • Hand over plant and modifications to production, ensuring document control
  • Identify solutions to improve equipment, process safety, efficiency, and reliability
