Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive recruitment efforts to build a world-class photonics design, layout, and testing team.
  • Mentor and guide team members as the team grows, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Clearly communicate progress and issues to the senior management team, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Ensure that the photonics team understands the broader business context and mission, driving strategic decision-making.
  • Lead a photonics project or team, leveraging expertise in tracking progress and managing issues to deliver results.
  • Evaluate and summarize measurement data effectively, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement strategies for packaging photonic devices, ensuring scalability and efficiency in volume manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant PhD or equivalent BSc with 8+ years of additional industrial experience.
  • Proven experience leading a photonics project or team, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong ability to evaluate and summarize measurement data effectively.
  • Experience in packaging photonic devices and scaling photonic devices for volume manufacturing.
