About the Role:

  • Crafting solutions across Aviva's IT applications portfolio, defining the overall solution architecture and system integrations that meet Aviva's technology standards and our ambitions for availability, security, resilience, and performance.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and training to less experienced Solution Architects as required.
  • Leading key designs to ensure the long-term IT Roadmaps are followed, as well as short-term project needs.
  • Performing early triage and shaping of IT initiatives to support investment decisions and initial delivery planning.
  • Excellent design and architecture skills and experience of agile delivery methods.
  • Financial acumen to support development of business cases and to inform key design decisions.

What You'll Get for This Role:

  • National Salary Circa £48,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary. The actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
