This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Cost Estimation: Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account all relevant factors, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Supplier Management: Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure the best possible prices and services.
- Bill of Quantities: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities from drawings, specifications, and schedules of finishes to ensure accurate cost estimation.
- Estimate Analysis: Prepare analytical estimates using subcontract quotations as a check to ensure the accuracy of cost estimates.
- Site Management: Calculate site management and preliminary costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
- Negotiation: Participate in final negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible deals.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in the fit-out or interiors industry, with a strong understanding of construction costs and estimating principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience with Conquest or similar estimating software preferred.
