About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse to join our team at Turning Point, a leading health and social care provider. As a key member of our community-based substance misuse services, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert prescribing services to individuals in our community-based substance misuse services.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the field of substance misuse treatment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) or Pharmacist Prescriber with a strong background in substance misuse treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field.
