Job Title: Commercial Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Mechanical Engineer to join our team at R9 Recruitment. As a key member of our property services team, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance to an agreed programme, budget, and quality within our operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on all plant room equipment
  • Understand heating and hot water systems, including design and control
  • Install replacement components
  • Maintain and repair communal ventilation and cold-water booster systems
  • Complete digital records for planned and reactive maintenance using ACIMs software
Requirements:
  • Qualified Commercial Mechanical Engineer for commercial and domestic premises
  • Skilled in plumbing (copper, steel), pipe threading, and mechanical pressing
  • Basic electrical skills
  • Knowledge of heating, hot water, and ventilation systems
  • Proficient in using and training others on PDA devices and company software

We offer a competitive package, including a company van and fuel card, 22 days holiday per year, plus holidays and birthday off after one year, pension with 4% salary sacrifice and employer contribution, death in service benefit (4x salary), employee assistance program, and eye care vouchers.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 17:00 pm, with flexibility with working hours essential as overtime will be required from time to time.
