Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is collaborating with a small, family-owned engineering firm that specializes in subcontract machining services.

Due to expansion, they are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator/Programmer) to become a vital part of their team on a permanent basis.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture components in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Ensure all components adhere to quality standards and are produced in an efficient manner.
  • Develop programs from scratch based on technical drawings.
  • Conduct inspections of finished components to verify accuracy and quality.
  • Work closely with the production team to refine processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • This position operates on a double-day shift, requiring a mix of early and late starts.
CNC Machinist Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machinist with proficiency in CNC Turning using Siemens control systems, including tool changes and setting offsets on CNC lathes.
  • Ability to edit and optimize CNC programs as necessary.
