We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Temporary Works Design who are eager to contribute to a diverse array of construction and infrastructure projects.

About Us
Kier Professional Services (KPS) is the engineering consultancy arm of Kier Group, dedicated to delivering innovative design solutions and technical expertise across various sectors. Our team of over 100 Temporary Works engineers is among the largest in the UK, responsible for thousands of designs annually.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate closely with project teams to provide comprehensive civil and structural services. Your contributions will include:

  • Designing and reviewing Temporary Works, ensuring integration with Permanent Works where necessary.
  • Offering alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance project outcomes.
  • Supporting tender processes with a focus on buildability and efficiency.
  • Conducting technical assessments of third-party designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Mentoring junior staff and fostering their professional development.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Chartered Engineer status or a commitment to achieving this qualification.
  • A strong interest or experience in Temporary Works Design.
  • A valid UK driving license.
