We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a key worker to a caseload of service users, providing regular support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support network.
- Conduct assessments, risk management planning, and provide psycho-social interventions to support service users in their recovery journey.
- Work closely with clinical staff, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of substance and alcohol use, and the challenges and opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and group basis, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery, with a commitment to supporting service users in overcoming these challenges.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
