About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance of process, packaging, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to machine and auxiliary failures, and carry out troubleshooting and fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Install, commission, and repair plant and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and facilitating improvements.
  • Assist the manufacturing department with line adjustments, changeovers, and breakdowns, promoting efficient production processes.
  • Take an active role in site Health and Safety requirements, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Work unsupervised when required, delegating tasks to other team members as necessary.
  • Produce and maintain documentation relating to engineering tasks, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • HNC or NVQ L3 qualified in an electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled discipline.
  • Hands-on multi-skilled experience with automated machines, preferably within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Working experience of integrated systems, including automatic packaging and palletization systems.
  • Strong team working and safety-driven skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
