Landscape and Recreation Policy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape and Recreation Policy Manager to join our team at Torfaen County Borough Council. As a key member of our Environment Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of our County Plan objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of officers covering landscape, access, recreation, and litter and fly-tipping policies
- Coordinate the delivery of a wide range of greenspace improvement projects
- Prepare strategic landscape and green infrastructure policies and strategies for the Council
- Provide advice to others within the authority, particularly in relation to planning applications
Requirements:
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
