Position Overview
Title: Brand Services Specialist (3D & Promotions)
Summary: This position involves assessing various 3D products and promotional materials from diverse partners to ensure they meet brand standards and uphold character integrity.
People Manager: No
The Brand Services Specialist is committed to maintaining the vision and quality of the Pokémon brand. The ideal candidate should engage deeply with the Pokémon brand, encompassing experiences from video games and trading card games to the animated series, and understanding how these elements translate into products. The role focuses on ensuring that products comply with the brand's guidelines while maintaining exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and approve submissions from designated partners, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and appropriate use of provided art assets.
- Identify potential scheduling challenges and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist partners in accurately interpreting the brand for their products.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine optimal product and character rollout strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with partners through various channels.
- Keep detailed records of item development from concept through to approval.
- Contribute to the creation of process documents, tools, and training materials.
- Participate in business meetings, which may include travel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, Illustration, or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.
- Experience in Project Management is advantageous.
