Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a part-time basis, working weekends between Thursday and Tuesday. The role involves carrying out local and distance work to Regional Distribution Centres across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers
  • Carrying out general haulage work to RDCs across the UK
  • Completing a mixture of local and distance work depending on the run
  • Strapping and securing loads (no loading or unloading required)
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours
Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence, CPC, and Digi card
  • At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
  • Experience with curtainsided trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
