Role Summary

As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting, preparing, and serving appetizing and nutritious meals tailored to the preferences and dietary needs of our residents. Timeliness and attention to detail are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing a diverse and nutritious menu that aligns with dietary preferences
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff in food preparation
  • Maintaining compliance with COSHH and HACCP regulations and managing necessary documentation
  • Planning and executing catering for special occasions and seasonal events
  • Ordering and sourcing fresh ingredients from approved suppliers
  • Monitoring inventory levels and reporting discrepancies
  • Ensuring proper food rotation to minimize waste and disposing of expired items
  • Preparing meals that meet high standards of nutrition and presentation
  • Upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and storage areas
  • Conducting regular checks of refrigeration and storage temperatures
