About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic researcher to join our team working on an Innovate UK funded project focused on Li-ion battery cathode materials characterizations and cell fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterize and test recycled materials and products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and implement methods for evaluating the performance of cathode materials in coin and pouch cells.
  • Collaborate with industrial partners to support the development of production processes.
  • Provide training and technical support to industrial collaborators as needed.
About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary international team collaborating with industrial partners across Singapore and the UK to tackle the exciting challenge of recycling and reusing Li-ion battery materials.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Li-ion battery cathode materials characterizations and cell fabrication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
