About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Hydon Hill, a vibrant care home in Godalming, Surrey. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of the premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the upkeep of the premises, including internal and external maintenance and repairs.
  • Undertake routine maintenance and repair work to required health and safety standards.
  • Decorate, furniture removal, and general repairs to ensure the premises are safe and well-maintained.
  • Work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the service and perform physical tasks required by the job.
Requirements
  • Relevant previous experience in a maintenance or similar role.
  • Understanding of workplace safety principles.
  • Ability to work flexibly and perform physical tasks required by the job.
