BOM Engineer

Gordon Murray Group is a UK-based global luxury brand dedicated to creating and manufacturing the world's greatest driving cars. We are seeking a highly skilled BOM Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Logistics team based in Surrey.

• Develop and manage elements of the Bill of Materials (BOM) in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all parts contained in the manufacturing BOM are correctly set up and structured in the Material Resource Planning system.
• Lead project teams to ensure the BOM accurately reflects what is required for manufacturing, logistics, and material control purposes.
• Manage the configuration change management process for product designs and monitor engineering changes to assess impact on the manufacturing BOM.
• Manage and secure BOM accuracy to deliver expected output against project milestones.
• Manage the BOM data migration and validation between systems.
• Contribute to continuously improve BOM management.

• Experience in an automotive, aerospace, FMCG, or manufacturing environment.
• Academic qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Information Technology.
• Experience of BOM control and understanding of change management processes.
• Knowledge and experience of PLM, IFS systems, and their implementation.
• High level of competence with Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
• Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive team player able to successfully cope with tight deadlines while ensuring quality of performance.
