The Role: Workday Specialist - People Technology
We are seeking a talented Workday Specialist to join our dynamic People Technology Team in London. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing our People Tools tech stack, ensuring smooth operations and driving efficiency across all HR processes.
Your Mission:
- Provide expert support to stakeholders through our ticketing system (Jira), resolving queries promptly and effectively.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative technical solutions leveraging People systems and technology.
- Play a key role in HR System upgrades and enhancements, encompassing prioritization, functional design, documentation, testing, training, implementation, and support model design.
- Collaborate closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts within the People team to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences for employees, managers, and business leaders.
- Continuously review business processes to maximize system feature utilization and identify opportunities to leverage tool functionalities for improved efficiency.
- Build custom reports and extract data requests, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
- Provide guidance and training to the People team on best practices for utilizing People tools effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by troubleshooting complex problems, investigating and resolving errors efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain security requirements and policies for user-level access to People applications, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
About You:
- You possess prior experience with People systems, including hands-on implementation experience with Workday HCM, particularly in compensation, reward, talent, and performance modules.
- You excel at communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
- You are a problem-solver with a proactive approach, always seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
- You have a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
