Property & Casualty Midmarket Underwriter

Location: UK - Chelmsford - Vision Offices - Unit S108

We are seeking a skilled Property & Casualty Midmarket Underwriter to join our team in the Chelmsford/Essex area. As an Underwriter, you will be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their existing commercial book of business within Aviva.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants and needs, using data insight to ensure we provide whole customer solutions.

As an Underwriter, you will work collaboratively within one of our Southeast Underwriting teams to support both the Senior Underwriter and Team Manager in delivering financials.

  • Previous Property and Liability underwriting experience
  • The ability to analyse risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
  • Strong commercial business insight to create and deliver business cases
