Salary: Starting from £46,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract management for significant subcontract and transactional agreements.
- Take responsibility for all associated Supply Chain activities within your designated area.
- Design and implement initiatives that enhance People (Resourcing & Capabilities), Process, Technology, and reporting to ensure the effective functioning of the Supply Chain department.
- Engage in effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, and act as a deputy for the Supply Chain Senior Manager when necessary.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals in the procurement field.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Project Management.
- Proven expertise in Stakeholder Management.
- Familiarity with ERP and PLM systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the aerospace, defense, or MOD sectors.
- Previous experience in a line management role.

About the Procurement Team:
As a Procurement Leader at BAE Systems, you will be integral to our major projects, empowering the team through effective delivery of People, Process, Toolsets, and Reporting. This role is set in a dynamic, commercial procurement environment, offering a diverse range of development opportunities as part of a team dedicated to the UK's National Defence Programme. Relocation support packages are available for eligible roles across all Submarines positions.
