Overview:
CPS Group (UK) Limited is pleased to collaborate with a prominent Financial Services entity to secure a Cyber Security Strategy Advisor. This role is pivotal in crafting a comprehensive 5-year Cyber Security Strategy.

Objective:
The primary goal is to conduct an independent evaluation of cyber security vulnerabilities and devise thorough strategies to protect the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment of Current Strategy: Undertake a thorough review of the existing Cyber Security Strategy.
  • Progress Evaluation: Analyze the current advancements and strategic trajectory.
  • Strategy Formulation: Develop a cyber security strategy that encompasses ongoing multi-year initiatives extending into the future, addressing personnel, procedural enhancements, and regulatory adaptations.
  • Business Case Development: Create up to three business proposal documents for projects anticipated to commence in the future, including preliminary cost estimations.
  • Expertise Requirements: Demonstrated experience in formulating cybersecurity strategies with an emphasis on risk evaluation and delivering both immediate and long-term security recommendations.
  • Knowledge Base: Profound understanding of contemporary cybersecurity trends, best practices, and emerging services and solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in the technical, human, procedural, and data requirements essential for effective cybersecurity planning and strategy.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive familiarity with Information Security, Information Technology, and relevant certifications, including ISO27001/2, NIST, and CIS.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to devise innovative solutions to intricate security challenges.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar capacity within the Cyber Security domain.
