About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Manor House Roundhay, a brand new 65-bed care home set to open in October 2024. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our care home, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overall management, collaborating with the Home Manager to oversee daily operations, staff management, and resident care.
  • Ensure individualized, person-centered care for residents, promoting their well-being and maintaining their dignity.
  • Provide guidance and support to care staff, ensuring they adhere to best practices and policies.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including health and safety standards.
  • Advocate for residents' needs, preferences, and rights.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
  • Address challenges promptly and proactively.
  • Support staff training and continuous improvement.
  • Be prepared to handle emergencies and critical situations.
