Job Summary:

Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing, maintenance, test, and inspection tasks within a client site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out manufacturing, maintenance, test, and inspection tasks within the client site.
  • Certify products in line with product certification procedures.
  • Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and test times are met.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
  • Maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest level.
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to good housekeeping policies.

Requirements:

  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship.
  • Vocational NVQ3 with Further Education, BTEC ONC/HNC.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/craftsman position.
  • Previous experience with explosives or live weaponry is highly beneficial.
  • Previous inspection experience is highly beneficial.
  • Full live build safety training will be given to the successful candidate.
