Full Time Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Middlewoods of Farmington, a senior living community dedicated to providing relationship-centered care, is seeking a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This role involves supporting a range of maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks (both internal and external) to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting hands-on maintenance and repair work on physical structures and equipment, with expertise in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Performing assigned cleaning tasks, including snow removal and debris clearance from the premises.
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of the maintenance department by demonstrating reliability and commitment.
  • Complying with facility standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Working collaboratively with all personnel to uphold the safety and security of everyone in the facility.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with Trade School experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction or facility maintenance is advantageous.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Strong customer service skills when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check, including physical and drug screening.
  • Availability for a Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday work schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
