Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours of Work: 8-hour shift, 10pm-6am, Monday to Friday

Salary: Starting salary £27,250, increasing to £30,400 after successful training

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's team in Kettering. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of production lines, ensuring high-quality products and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Monitor and control production processes to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with the shift leader and other team members to achieve production goals
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime
  • Record and report production data and metrics as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including night shifts
