Position:

As a Site Planner for a renewable energy installation project, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of the project in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed site installation schedule that aligns with contractual obligations.
  • Provide stakeholders with accurate assessments of project status by analyzing progress updates and changes, along with preparing reliable forecasts.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners regarding site installation planning matters.
  • Identify the critical path and, if necessary, initiate corrective actions in collaboration with relevant disciplines.
  • Ensure all interactions with clients, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders are integrated into the project schedule.

Core Tasks:

  • Update the project schedule daily with the latest project information, including changes, actual progress, and forecasts.
  • Analyze the project schedule after each update and report any deviations to the project manager and site manager.
  • Collect necessary project information from team members for schedule preparation and updates.
  • Evaluate input for progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the project team to agree on revisions to the project schedule and baseline.
  • Regularly review the project schedule with the site manager and project manager, ensuring compliance with client reporting standards.
  • Track key tasks for potential contract changes or claims prevention and assess their impact on the project schedule.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of the project schedule in accordance with international standards.
  • Identify critical paths and perform delay analysis to support claims for extensions of time.
  • Assist the project team in preparing and submitting claim notices in accordance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Proven track record in construction project planning and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of project interdependencies and relevant technical topics.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of claims management.
  • Willingness to work on-site.
